The best quarterback in the league right now, Tom Brady, was able to get a lot out of the Patriots offense again and completed 15 of 27 passes for 234 yards with a couple of TDs and no interceptions. The opposing quarterback, Tyler Palko, had similar passing attempts but with 3 interceptions and no TDs. He was also sacked three times as he held the ball for too long at times.
The New England Patriots are now 7-3 after sweeping the Jets last week and have actually taken a two-game lead in the AFC East. On the other hand, Kansas City has now lost three in a row and have now sunk to the bottom of the AFC West. They were not helped by the back-to-back touchdowns that pretty much iced the game for the Pats in the third quarter. Early in the third quarter came a 19-yard touchdown pass to Rob Gronkowski by Tom Brady that put New England up 17-3. A special teams blunder by the Chiefs occurred when the Patriots Wide Receiver Julian Edelman delivered a knockout punch to Kansas City when he returned a punt 72 yards for a touchdown to put the Patriots up 24-3 with just over 9 minutes to go in the third quarter.

The big Tight End Rob Gronkowski had another great game this week with four receptions for 96 yards and two TDs. A lot of these yards came in a play that had 71 yards after the catch which was actually a single-game career-high for young Gronkowski. Bill Belichick got the Pats going with a fiery talk at halftime after a very slow start.
The Patriots will face a real test this Sunday when they take on the Philadelphia Eagles in an away game at Lincoln Financial Field. However, looking at their schedule past that it seems like New England could finish 12-4. I fully expect them to clinch the AFC East and they may have a good shot at having home field advantage throughout the playoffs.
