ESPN Analyst Skip Bayless has big hopes for the Patriots this season

New England's off-season moves have him upbeat.

There is definitely some credibility to anything that comes out of Skip Bayless' mouth. This is what I have learned after watching ESPN for so long. I am also a huge fan of Tom Brady so anything positive news about the Patriots has me excited.

Skip Bayless has the Patriots winning the Super Bowl next season with an impressive 18-1 record. I didn’t want to put that in the heading because I really didn’t want to jinx their chances. Yes, I am a tad superstitious too!

Newly acquired Joseph Addai being cut from the Pats for failing a physical does not change the bold prediction that ESPN’s Skip Bayless made for New England. But, really how can you call it bold when you look at the Pats' record in the last couple of years and in the last decade? Putting your money on the Patriots is the safe thing to do.

Tom Brady is still looking for that fourth ring and having been disappointed twice by the NY Giants, I am sure that Brady will be raring to go for another Super Bowl. Brady has a running game on his own too, with his short passes to Wes Welker and the tosses to RBs like Danny Woodhead. Not to mention his offensive weapons Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez.

As for the off-season moves, the Pats have a lot of depth after adding Brandon Lloyd and Visanthe Shiancoe on the offense. The Patriots also drafted Linebacker Dont’a Hightower from Alabama and Defensive End Chandler Jones from Syracuse in the first round to an already high-powered defense.
