One of the most intriguing NFL games of the NFL’s week three will come out of Baltimore. There, the Ravens will meet the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football at M&T Stadium. Both teams are 1-1 and are coming off tough losses that both involved losing their week two games in the closing seconds. Both also know the importance of not losing two games straight and have been NFL powerhouses for years. So far this season, this game intrigues me the most and should help show where both these team currently stand.
Baltimore fell to the Eagles last week after Mike Vick ran in for a short touchdown as time was running out in the fourth quarter. The Ravens showed a lot of animosity towards the referees after the contest and felt that a lot was missed during the course of the game. In week one Baltimore was able to get a victory against the Ravens in what was their first primetime game. They hope to match those results come Sunday.
The Patriots found a way to lose last week despite getting a gift fumble in the closing minutes of their game last week against the Cardinals. The Patriots Recovered a late fumble that lined them up in field goal range against Arizona, and gave them a shot to win the game. The try, however, sailed wide and the Patriots suffered their first defeat. The Patriots lone win of the season came week 1 when they blew out the Titans.
